A Dispenser of Eternal Life

Often, even Christian believers refer to Adam as the ‘father of us all’. Many of us believe that Jesus’ work was to restore us to the glory Adam had before the Fall. But the truth is that when we are born again, you are not restored to the glory of the first Adam.

 

Instead the bible says in 1 Cor 15.45, “The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.” While the first Adam was a living soul, the second and last Adam is a life-giving spirit. The last Adam is the fountain of Life. When we are born again we are born in the similitude of this second Adam. That means we are a life-giving spirit.

 

2 Cor 5.17 says if any man is in Christ, He is a new creation,……….  All things are become new”. We are more than mere human beings. Right there in your spirit, is a fountain that is bubbling with life. 1 John 5.11 says, ‘… God has given to us eternal life…..”

 

We are partakers of the divine nature (2 Peter 1.4) Thus each one of us is a life giver, a dispenser of eternal life.
